ADDLESTONE: ‘Mead Court’, Woburn Corner, Station Road
Raine & Co. were appointed by Sainsbury’s as project co-ordinators to oversee the sale of this 0.64 acre site lying in a prominent position on the edge of Addlestone town centre.
To overcome planning and environment agency resistance (an open ditch crossed the site and part lay in a flood plain), Raine & Co. appointed a full project team (including town planning, drainage and hydrological consultants) and secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a 15-unit residential scheme. Following an extensive marketing campaign, Raine & Co. achieved an unconditional sale to McCarthy & Stone for a retirement home development.
