Disposals

Raine & Co. have secured disposals for Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Waitrose and others, across a wide range of property types and tenures. Set out below is a brief summary of key Disposal transactions.

Addlestone Woburn Corner

ADDLESTONE:  Woburn Corner, Station Road

Raine & Co. were appointed by Sainsbury’s as project co-ordinators to oversee the sale of this 0.64 acre site lying in a prominent position on the edge of Addlestone town centre.

To overcome planning and environment agency resistance (an open ditch crossed the site and part lay in a flood plain), Raine & Co. appointed a full project team (including town planning, drainage and hydrological consultants) and secured a resolution to grant planning permission for a 15 unit residential scheme. Following an extensive marketing campaign, Raine & Co. achieved an unconditional sale to McCarthy & Stone for a retirement home development.
